Buying a Gift Card

What kinds of gift cards can I buy?

Digital gift cards are sold online in $25, $50, $100, $250 and $500 amounts. Physical gift cards are sold in store only.

When will my recipient get their digital gift card?

Within a few minutes of your order. The email includes your name, your message if you added one, the amount, the card number and barcode, a 4-digit PIN, and links to redeem and check the balance. Ask them to check spam or junk folders.

Are there shipping fees on digital gift cards?

No. If your order also includes clothing, standard shipping fees and the free shipping threshold apply to those items.

Can I buy a digital gift card with other items?

Yes. The digital gift card is emailed within minutes, and the rest of your order ships within the usual time frame.

Can I customize a digital gift card?

There is one digital gift card design at this time.

Do discounts apply to gift card purchases?

No. Digital gift card purchases aren't eligible for welcome discounts or other promotions.

Can I pay for a digital gift card with Klarna?

No. Klarna Flexible Payments can't be used for digital gift cards. If your cart has clothing and a digital gift card, check out separately to use Klarna for the clothing.

Using a Gift Card

How do I use a gift card online?

At checkout, enter the card number and PIN in the gift card fields and select Apply. The amount comes off your order total, and any balance stays on the card. If your physical card has no PIN, use the prompt to auto-fill the PIN field.

Can I use a digital gift card in store?

Yes. Show the gift card email at the cash at any George Richards Big & Tall store.

Can I use a physical gift card online?

Yes. Every George Richards Big & Tall gift card, digital or physical, works online and in store.

How do I check my balance?

Use the gift card balance checker with your card number and PIN.

Do gift cards expire?

No. George Richards Big & Tall gift cards never expire, so keep yours safe and treat it like cash.

Can I reload a gift card?

Digital gift cards aren't reloadable.

Returns & Refunds

Where does my refund go if I paid with a digital gift card?

A new digital gift card is issued to the email on the order. If you paid with both a gift card and a credit card, part of your refund may go back to the credit card.

Can I return a gift card?

No. All gift cards, physical and digital, are final sale and non-refundable.

Lost or Not Working

My recipient never got their digital gift card. Can it be resent?

Yes. Email supportGR@georgerichards.ca with the order number and the recipient's email address. Ask your recipient to check spam or junk folders first.

My gift card isn't working. What should I do?

Check that the card number and PIN are entered correctly. If the card has no PIN, use the prompt to auto-fill it. Still stuck? Note the error message and email supportGR@georgerichards.ca.

How do I report a lost or stolen gift card?

Email supportGR@georgerichards.ca. We'll lock the card and move any remaining balance to a new digital gift card. Have your previous email, the sender's name and email, your new email, and any recent purchases ready.

How are gift cards secured?

Every gift card has a 4-digit PIN: in the gift card email for digital cards, and on the back of physical cards. If a physical card has no PIN, use the prompt to auto-fill it.
